Vicki Bartholomew is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America living in Sherwood, Oregon. Vicki started life in Depew, Oklahoma, where her father was the high school principal and her teacher mother sometimes directed high school plays. She attended Hemet High School in California and met her future husband at California State Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo. Their children performed in many plays while growing up and launched their mother into a new career of writing for the theatre.
Vicki writes family plays, including casts from children to senior citizens. Her plays have been Finalists at the Jackie White Award (MO), the Robert J. Pickering (MI), the American Renegade Award (CA), the Paul Green Award (NC), New Works Theatre (CA), Lebanon Community Theatre (PA), SWTA Children's Play Contest (TX), Pentacle Theatre (OR), the Beverly Hills Theatre Guild Marilyn Hall Award (CA), and Jewel Box Theatre Playwriting Contest (OK).
